North Carolina Elopement

I met this gorgeous couple while on my trip to Outer Banks, NC and I got a chance to shoot this beach elopement. My dear friend Britt from Marigold and Moss made the bouquet and the wedding dress belongs to Reclaimation Bridal. I love their stunning dresses. They are repurposed from vintage lace and gives the perfect Boho vibe for anyone looking to have a bohemian themed wedding or elopement and also they are not ridiculously expensive as well. But more importantly, you are supporting a small business if you purchase one of her dresses.

This trip to shoot two couples was seriously shortest and quickest one I have ever done. We were gone and back home within a day and half, driving a 20 hr round trip with less than 8 hours of sleep in a 48 hour time period. It was a 10 hour drive, me and a friend left at 8 AM got there at 6, shot this elopement and beach session..Then we went to have dinner and to our airbnb to get the few hours of sleep we could get before we had to wake up to shoot a sunrise elopement. Right after that we were on the road again to be home before it got super dark. It was so exhausting but at the same time so amazing because I got the most beautiful images out of it.

It was a weekday so luckily the beach was pretty empty with only a couple people I had to photoshop out lol These two made all my photography dreams come true. After this, we even did a water session in their swimsuits which needs to be it’s own blog post coz those pictures are STUNNING. They even have a dog lulu which I wish I would have told them to bring coz how cute would it have been had she been in the pictures as well. But next time!
