I had so many sessions and weddings this particular weekend of this Arabia Mountain elopement. And I still hadn’t finished the backdrop. I ended up staying up most of the night hanging ribbons on the arch. Not only that, but I had to drive 40 mins at 9 PM to pick up the florals. It wouldn’t be so bad if I had slept for more than 3 hours the night before lol. I like to do that to myself. For some reason, I like to run on fumes.
But once we transported everything to this elopement spot on Arabia Mountain and make the arch sturdy with giant rocks, it was amazing. The combination of those reds and oranges with just a pop of blue turned out beautiful. Rebekah and David are such perfect models. They love to have fun and goof around which made my job so much easier.
Arabia Mountain is a perfect spot to elope and don’t want to hike several miles. This is beautiful landscape that consists of exposed granite rocks and pine & oak forests. Arabia Mountain is located about 30 minutes from Atlanta and is a perfect spot for an elopement no matter the season. Some areas in the park do require a permit so be sure to reach out to them beforehand. I’d love for you to check out my eloping in Georgia post. It may help you in planning your very own elopement.
Pro tip: For the easiest hike, park at the Aware wildlife center. Practice Leave No Trace at all times & stay on the gray parts as the park consists of extremely rare plant species.
