How to Pull Off a Chic Italian Summer Vibe at Your Hills and Dales Wedding

June 13, 2025

This Hills and Dales wedding was a full-on European summer fantasy, citrus tones, soft parasols, red striped heels, and a couple who looked like they stepped out of a vintage romance film. If you’ve been wondering how to bring Italian summer to your Georgia wedding, this is your blueprint! The fashion was bold. The vibes were breezy. The florals were overflowing. Every part of the day felt artful and effortless in the most editorial way. So here it is, a scroll-worthy visual story of a Hills and Dales wedding that brought summer in the prettiest, punchiest way. Save it, screenshot it, plan your whole wedding around it. This one is that good.

Details That Deserve Their Own Movie Scene

Let’s just start by saying the detail shots from this day had range. We’re talking a creamy white fan that you could totally imagine someone using in an old Italian film. Striped Loeffler Randall heels with the sassiest pop of red, styled on a garden statue like they belonged in a museum. Tomatoes located into the flatlays. Wax seals stamped with florals. Every little thing felt playful, chic, and curated without being stiff. The vibe was “I care about aesthetics but I’m still having the time of my life,” which is honestly the energy every wedding detail should carry. And the way those pieces came together vintage, citrusy, a little flirty made the entire day feel like one long still life in motion!

A Stuuning Bridal Look

The bride’s entire look was giving quiet luxury meets whimsical. The layered tulle gown was romantic and floaty, with so much movement that it basically danced on its own. Paired with soft glam, delicate gold jewelry, and the boldest striped heels, her whole look walked the line between classic and editorial. Not to mention she pulled out a parasol and somehow made it look like the coolest accessory of the year. And her bridesmaids? A lineup of buttery yellows and mixed textures that didn’t try too hard. Ruffles, relaxed silhouettes, soft waves they looked like they were cast in a period drama that decided to go full pastel. At one point, they all laid in the grass in a circle, surrounded by petals. Like… who are they? Icons!

Garden Ceremony Goals

If you’ve never been to Hills and Dales Estate, let me paint a picture. It’s Southern beauty with European soul sculpted gardens, pale stone architecture, and just enough shade to make a summer ceremony feel dreamy instead of sweaty. These two said “I do” tucked between the hedges, with vintage bistro chairs for guests and sun dappling through the trees. There was something soft about the whole setup. No over-the-top arch. No massive floral install. Just a couple surrounded by people they love, standing in the middle of something timeless. It felt calm. Intentional. Like they were in their own little world and that world happened to be stunning.

Reception Styling That Popped

The second you see the reception table, you’re like, Okay. I get it. Striped green and white linens anchored the whole design and gave it that classic Italian café feel. But then you had the pops of orange, coral, and deep red florals. Citrus tucked in between place settings. Sculptural arrangements that looked wild but still elevated. It wasn’t trying to be perfect and that’s what made it so chic. It felt like something you’d stumble upon on a summer night in Tuscany. A little messy in the best way. Like you could sit there for hours with a glass of wine and just be. It’s proof that when you let go of perfect and lean into feeling, the results are stunning!

Ending on a (Champagne) High Note

And of course, they wrapped the day with a champagne tower. But not just any champagne tower,  this one was surrounded by florals and tucked into a little hidden spot at the estate. The bride popped the bottle, the tower filled up, and they kissed behind it like they were starring in a vintage perfume ad. Just the two of them, smiling and soaked in golden hour light, letting the day close out exactly the way it started with intention, fun, and major style. There’s just something about a champagne tower that says, “we did it our way.” And that’s exactly what this wedding was all about.
