It was a beautiful day to head to the North Georgia mountains and take these engagement photos at Kaya Vineyards and Winery. They are located in Dahlonega and are also a full-service wedding venue. Mountain scenery and stunning sunsets make vineyards in North Georgia weddings so popular. That’s why they are attractive to engaged couples.

Kassie & Stephen met on bumble and were together for 5 years before he popped the question. Stephen proposed to Kassie while on a trip to Napa Valley, because they both love wine. Both being wine lovers, it was no surprise that they chose Kaya Vineyards for their wedding. Since Kaya was their wedding venue, they also wanted to do their engagement session there. They reached out to me in October and wanted a fall engagement session. In my opinion, October is the BEST time for photos in North Georgia so it was perfect that they picked it for their engagement.

Kassie’s parents accompanied them to their engagement session as they were staying on property for their tasting the next day. I had the absolute best time chatting with them and hearing all about their wedding plans. Another reason, Kaya is such a perfect place for weddings is because they have cottages for your friends and family to stay over and enjoy your wedding weekend with you.

Kassie & Stephen were super fun and just go with the flow about their whole session. They did all the stupid things I asked them to do to get the best photos for them. They wanted to change outfits in between the session to give them some variety in the photos which I always tell clients they are more than welcome to do so. Kaya weddings are my favorite and I am so glad they picked me to be their photographer.
