Where is Tulum?
Tulum is located on the East Coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico! It’s very well known for its white sandy beaches and its well-preserved ancient Mayan ruins!
Why Get Married in Tulum?
Tulum offers a variety of unique experiences and truly unforgettable backdrops! If you’re looking to have a wedding in an extraordinary and unforgettable location, Tulum is perfect for you! The ancient ruins add a perfect touch of history while its white sandy beaches provide the opportunity for fun in the sun! And you don’t want to forget all of the adventure opportunities that Tulum has to offer! Also, don’t get me started on the food. YUM!
Is it Expensive to Get Married in Tulum? How Much Does a Tulum Wedding Cost?
Just like with planning any kind of wedding, the price is dependent on what you envision for your day and what is a priority to you. This will also vary greatly depending on the number of guests you want for your Mexico wedding. Are you planning on a 20 people wedding celebration, maybe only a few close family and friends, or just you and your partner? It also depends on whether or not you’re looking into an all inclusive resort wedding or planning a custom wedding experience!
If you’re thinking of an all-inclusive luxury resort wedding, you can plan to spend 5,000-7,000+ USD depending on guest count. Keep in mind that this is just for the resort and does not include specific vendors like photography, videography, etc.
Keep in mind that the average wedding in The United States costs around $30,000, so you can still save quite a bit of money when you plan a destination Tulum wedding!
